NightHawks Adult Education Program

Are you ready for a career in the automotive industry?

Our NightHawks CTI Automotive Technician program provides students with industry training and hands-on experience working with automobiles that are complex systems combining computer technology and integrated systems, electronic braking systems and automated support systems for drivers.  Certifications include OSHA-10, Hotworks and Basic SP Certifications.

This class is for serious participants who want a job in the Auto Technician  field.  Attendance, employer engagement, job placement and career readiness work is required. 

Due to the high number of applicants, all applicants will be scheduled, via email, for an in person interview at Essex Tech to determine program eligibilty.

Program Session Dates: August 16-December 22

Prerequisite Courses at Essex Tech  (Resume Development and Career Readiness, Digital and Cultural Literacy, Shop Tours with Q&A, Industry Math, Professional and Program Expectations) are required and attendance is mandatory: 

Tuesday, August 16: 4-6pm

Thursday, August 18: 4-6pm

Tuesday, August 23: 4-6pm

Thursday, August 25: 4-6pm

Tuesday, August 30: 4-6pm

Automotive Technical Training will take place beginning on Tuesday, September 6.  Classes will be Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays: 4-8 pm. 

Our NightHawks Education Program, in collaboration with the MassHire North Shore Career Center, is offering this Automotive Technician industry training session with credentials and career placement assistance.  Collaboration with the MassHire North Shore Career Center is a required part of this program.   All of the training, materials and certifications are free.  

Essex Tech:Tues/Weds/Thurs: 4:00-8:00pm - 3 nights per week

Certifications will be online.
