NightHawks Adult Education Program

Are you ready for a career in the Plumbing field?

Our NightHawks CTI - Tier 1 Plumbing Training Program provides students with industry training, theory and hands-on experience.  Plumbing is a licensed trade that requires not only specific technical knowledge and skill, but also an initial understanding of the Massachusetts State Plumbing and Fuel Gas Code and a general understanding of the construction trades. The program includes classroom for theory and in shop hands-on instruction. Students learn water supply and distribution, sanitary waste and venting, pipe fitting, basic fixture installation and how to read blueprints. Certifications include OSHA Construction 10 Hour, Hotworks and 110 Tier 1 hours.  Students will also receive Career Readiness training and job placement assistance.  This class is for serious participants who want a job in the Plumbing field.  Attendance, employer engagement, job placement and career readiness work is required.

Program Session Dates: September 9 - December 18

Classes will be Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays: 4-8 pm. 

Collaboration with the MassHire North Shore Career Center is a required part of this program.   All of the training, materials and certifications are free.  

Essex Tech:Tues/Weds/Thurs: 4:00-8:00pm - 3 nights per week

Certifications will be online.

This is a high demand class and spots are limited.

All applicants who meet initial program eligibility will be required to attend a mandatory information session, attend a personal interview and provide necessary documentation.
