Who Should Enroll?  Licensed Journeyman Electricians preparing for and nearing eligibility for examination for Master Licensure.

Based on 237 CMR 22.00 – Entry-Level Electrical Education

Course Description: This foundational course introduces students to the advanced principles of electricity, Massachusetts Electrical Code regulations, and safe work practices, providing the essential knowledge required for experienced licensed electricians working in the electrical trade.

Approved by the Board of State Examiners of Electricians, this course meets the classroom hour requirements of 237 CMR 22.02 for individuals pursuing Master Electrician licensure in Massachusetts. This is a one year course.

Advanced Code calculations

Branch Circuit/Feeder/Service

Emergency Systems

Health Care

Hazardous Locations

Applicable Massachusetts General Laws pertaining to:

Licensing Laws

Appeals Process

Board RUles and Regulations

237 CMR 12.00 through 23.00

Good Business Practices

General review of all subjects covered in the 600 Clock-hour Journeyman course, as applicable

This is a year long course. Tuition may be paid in 2 installments: $675 due upon registration. Balance due December 1 ($675). Please read the NightHawks Adult Education Refund Policy
